Stockport Homes Group is a great place to work! We pride ourselves on building strong collaborative relationships locally, regionally and nationally. We are passionate about not only providing housing and building new homes in Stockport but helping to transform the lives of our customers. We aim to provide comfortable and affordable homes and engage customers and communities.

We’re currently recruiting a Health & Safety Systems Coordinator to support and contribute to the improvement of health and safety practices throughout the Stockport Homes Group.

The Health and Safety Systems Co-ordinator role is responsible for the administration, maintenance and development of all the Health and Safety systems and will also be responsible for the creation of templates, documentation and information in relation to H&S across the group.

You will need to ensure that the systems and any documentation are compliant with legislation, best practice, audit and assessment requirements. Further to this we’re looking for you to design and deliver some in house training to stakeholders across the group - co-ordinating, commissioning and also sometimes delivering learning and development activities will be a key part of this role.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A genuine interest in health and safety law and best practice.

  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and online systems.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build effective working relationships and to ensure buy in at all levels.

  • The ability to create and deliver training and the skills to present information to a wide audience.
